Denver - River Run Park
River Run Park
This park was built in phases, with the second phase not available until 2019, so information on it is a bit scanty at this time. We thank Jon Leyba for some of the information and one of the videos in it. The park has 6 features.

Generally anything above 200 cfs is usable. Generally speaking the features get better as the water goes up. Each of the waves and holes has a slightly different characteristic and varies by water level. The park is frequently crowded with board surfers, especially on weekends. The videos are confusing as some of them have the features labeled from the top, others have the features numbered from the bottom. Overall we would say the park is a good local spot if you live in the Denver area, but certainly not worth a drive across the state or across the country.
