Denver - Union Chutes

Union Chutes is a series of seven drops spread over perhaps a third of a mile. It has a good path along it.

Below 500 CFS, which is at least the last half of each summer, it is pretty much useless for playboating. There are great eddies below each drop, so it is a great place to teach beginning river running.

Between 500 and 2,000 we don’t know much about it, but we know people use it, so we welcome comments and videos.

Above 2,000 CFS it offers some  good spots with many moves possible for Advanced and Expert playboaters.
