Eagle River Park
2019 is the first real season for the Eagle River Play Park in Eagle, Colorado. We’ve heard a variety of opinions about the park ranging from ‘it’s a good spot if you live nearby’, to ‘it’s awesome.’
We saw the park at 2,700 cfs. and rated it a good local spot. At that level we would only recommend this park to those with a reliable combat roll as there were waves and turbulence behind all 4 spots. Wave 1 was unusable at this level. Waves 2 and 3 were medium size and had a lot of power making most wave moves possible. However, there was a lot of turbulence and inconsistency making it hard to set up and both spots sometimes dished out unexpected bounces, windowshades, and flushes. Spot 4 was a small bouncy, inconsistent hole. We are eager to have others send us links of video at the park at other levels so we can provide a more complete picture. |
